It can be challenging to know exactly how to help kids read hard words. That’s why I love this post from reading specialist This Reading Mama. Check out her list of over 15 strategies for helping kids read words they don’t know.
This Battle of the States game is amazing! I printed it and have played it with my daughter a number of times already. We play it alongside a United States map so she can practice seeing where the states are, compare their size, and determining if they are young or old depending on where they’re located.
