LOOKING FOR OUR OLD SIGHT WORD BOOKS? I created our old sight word books, emergent readers, and Color Me Readers a number of years ago, before I understood the research about how kids learn to read. I have removed those books from the blog and shop because they don’t align with the research. Try these freebies instead!
If you’re looking for posts about teaching spelling with word study, I no longer recommend this approach as a core spelling program because it’s not explicit or systematic enough. Watch for new spelling posts in 2023.
