Awesome strategies and activities. I will surely improve on using interactive thinking aloud for children to understand what they are reading. I am eager to teach children how to monitor their comprehension.

I love all of your resources and information! One thing I would include in your review about reading comprehension is that comprehension is also greatly influenced by a person’s language comprehension. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, mom of a struggling reader and quest for understanding all things reading, a good bit of research that I have read indicates that this factor is one that greatly influences reading comprehension.
