Hello! I am so excited about this giveaway! I’m an EFL teacher from Israel and We are about to go on a relocation to Australia. I have started teaching my 5 year old boy to read, he is mastering his CVCs and I’m hoping (with the help of your materials) to start working on sight words (which are much more difficult as he had to learn the meaning as well) and blends.
    Thank you!

I teach special education kindergarten in Long Island, New York. I am excited about this give away opportunity because your printables and center activities provide great practice for my kiddos. I love the hands on learning, instructions easy for the kids to understand and they are so easy to prepare! But I think the best part is that they are right on target for skills the kids need to learn and practice! Thank you!

I live in NC In the beautiful mountains.

Most excited because of how easy it would be. I’m the mom who searches and searches for activities-spending too much time that I could actually be doing the activities.

        Hi,

I’m from the Gold Coast, Australia and love where I live.
I would be forever grateful about having a membership as I have followed the Measured Mom for a number of years and really love Anna’s generosity. I’ve never considered paying for the membership as coming from Australia there are differences in the spelling of words etc and so I only have Australian memberships. I would very much be interested in the printables and use many of the freebies I have downloaded over the years. This would give me a chance to check it out.
        Cheers

I live in Michigan. Where the weather is interesting, yet the views are breath taking, and the children can use their sensory everyday.

I am most excited about the available printables that I can use daily and print off for the kiddos that we might be working on speech delay or adding games to our sensory theme. Also to learn and take short trainings to support what I love to teach the kiddos in their everyday life.

I teach English as a Learned Language in Virginia. I teach students in grades K through 5 in 2 different schools. Many of them are not literate in their native language and although they are placed in age appropriate classes, they have to start with the basics in reading and writing English. I am so happy to have found a source of bright pictures to accompany simple text for my learners.

I am a kindergarten teacher from Pennsylvania. I am very excited about the videos as I’ve always enjoyed your videos from the reading course. I love your printables … Especially the games you create. I think I first learned about your work and blog during the summer that you and your partner created and shared games together.I think they were your print and play games and every week or every few weeks you put out some more and I always look forward to seeing what was coming next. I am not on Facebook so I’m not sure if I will be able to participate in the Facebook group but I would like to if I could. That sounds like an exciting experience as well. All of your work is greatly appreciated.

      Hello…

My name is Karen and I teach Grade 1 and 2 in Germany.

We are still looking for a way to implement a true system which enables students to learn how to read in English in a more hands-on and independent way. I know it is very general, but I am simply excited about the applicable and age-and skill-appropriate resources and printables you have created and shared. They are just awesome! As I am not so computer savy, they make my job less about searching for that ‘just right’ worksheet/activity…because I know I have found the right one here on The Measured Mom website

      Thank you!

Hi! Brand new to your page, heard about your page from a nee YouTube channel I watch (Brittany Lynn). I am a farmer’s wife and SAHM to 2 girls (3 in about 1 month) :). My oldest is 3, so Pre-K and younger is what we are working on. I live in a small town in central Illinois. The things I am most excited about with the membership is the video tutorials (there’s alot of material on the web but i have no teaching experience so guidance on execution would be great). Another thing i would be excited about is the community support in FB group for the same reason, it’s a bit intimidating starting to teach kids without prior teaching experience. Thank you so much for the chance to win such a wonderful gift! And Happy Birthday!! šŸ™‚

Hi. I am a high school English teacher from the Philippines. I am a reading teacher. Unfortunately, from where I am teaching, there are still 12-16 year olds who are not capable of reading letters, much more of an english word. This probably have largely contributed to put the Philippines at the bottom from the countries with regards to reading comprehension. As an English teacher, I am trying to help the children learn how to read and eventually, at least help raise the rank of our country. Your free printables are great and helped me and students a lot. I’d be delighted if I’d be chosen to be one if the winners.

I am a long term temporary teacher of 2nd grade in Haymarket, VA. While I have a Mater’s degree in Special Education, I gave up teaching full time in 2005 when my oldest son was born. I decided to dip my toe back in last year with subbing and this school year I accepted the long term position. I have felt totally out of my element at times due to lack of knowledge on advanced teaching methods—especially teaching large groups as I never had a class bigger than 10 as a SPED teacher. I am making it though and this site has been integral for me with methods and printables that help me feel competent! Thank you so much for what you do. It has helped this struggling instant-2nd-grade-teacher immensely.

I am a preschool teacher at Christ’s Community Discovery School, a private Christian preschool in Joplin, Missouri. I teach ages 3-5. I’m most excited about the Centers Resources. Because our school is church based, we do not receive state funding for supplies. We are given $5 per child each month to spend on classroom resources, supplies, etc. I currently have 9 children enrolled in my class, so I am allowed to spend only $45/month. The rest is out of pocket. As you can see, this doesn’t allow me to afford your amazing resources. Thank you for doing this giveaway! Good luck to all entrants!

I’m a SAHM who has used your resources so many times for my now 2 and 6 year old (and a couple of their friends). We live in Mississippi and I’m excited to use your resources and tips for math, especially. My favorite resource of yours I’ve bought is the Chapter Book series review. I was referencing it so much that I had it printed and bound. It’s introduced my daughter (and me!) to so many great books and it gives me so much comfort when she chooses a new book series.

What an amazing giveaway you are offering.

    1. I am currently a Grade 2 classroom teacher at an all-boys school.

    2. I am from Japan and am teaching in Japan as well.

    3. Honestly, I am excited about every aspect of the membership but the video trainings and the private FB group appeal to me. Your videos are concise and so they are manageable for us busy teachers. The FB groups are a great form of PLC because as educators, we need to be active and up-to-date with our teaching. Ever since I discovered The Measured Mom I have been more motivated and excited about teaching my young readers and I’d love to keep this momentum going. I have been using many of your resources such as Invented Spelling and the documents you created to keep my student notes organized. They have been so helpful. Hi, my name is Lili. (I just wrote a comment and it disappeared from my screen so if it gets to you and I wrote 2x I apologize).

I have been a teacher for fifteen years. I spent ten years in Taiwan and Iraq teaching elementary ESL. Now I have moved back to the United States and live and work in Pennsylvania. I work in an old church that has been converted into a little red, one room school house. We have grades kindergarten through 6th grade and students 4 years old to twelve years old. However, what is special about our school is that we do not teach according to their grade/age but according to the child’s skill level in ELA and math. So you may be in 4th grade ELA but have 5th grade math. The levels can change throughout the school year as well. There are three teachers/homerooms in our school. I teach kindergarten and 1st grade but my lessons are for kindergarten to 2nd grade. I have 9 students and I create differentiated lessons for each child’s learning level. This is very time consuming so your blog with lessons and activities are very helpful. My students love the worksheets and lessons from your blog and I love how fun and easy they are to teach. Since we are a private school we don’t receive all the perks of the public schools in our community. I tend to reach out to blogs and ideas on the web when creating lesson plans. I am most excited about the trainings you are offering, these will be the most beneficial to me. Being able to have the transcripts is an added bonus! I will be able to use them in the future and this is great for a teacher who has school hours from 730am to 3pm but I find myself at school until 6pm most nights and back to school on the weekends. All of our curriculum in ELA, math, science and social studies is created by myself and the other two teachers. You will never know how helpful your blog is for me. Thank you for all you do!

I love your blog and all the great information you have on it. It has all been so helpful for me, especially since I am not a teacher but decided to homeschool after my oldest was diagnosed with dyslexia and public school just wasn’t working for her. She was in 5th grade when we pulled her out. So all the help I can get with teaching my K reading will be beneficial. Thank-You!

I am a mom of 3 who taught Early Childhood Special Education in Kansas. After baby 3 was born (she turns 2 next week) I decided to stay home for a couple years until they all get into kindergarten. My oldest just turned 5 and will start kindergarten in August. My middle will be 4 in a couple of months. I started your Learning the Alphabet when my oldest was 2 and a half, the following year was Reading the Alphabet, and this last year before Kindergarten she is doing Learn to Read. My middle is a year behind her in school and he is currently on Reading the Alphabet. It’s been wonderful to have a curriculum that I prepare each week for them. Anna, you are so wonderful. Hello ? it’s Joi from Virginia! I teach a Kindergarten/1st grade combo class. More than half of my class is emerging bilingual students and based on what I saw in the sneak peek of resources, there are a lot of heavy visuals and language support materials that they can use! Also I teach parents strategies to support their student at home because so many of my families want to help but they don’t know how—so the resources look easy enough for them to understand and learn alongside their student!

The third grader is in school, but he doesn’t always get everything he needs in the classroom. I help him study at home. He is a sight word reader and uses context clues well to figure out words. He struggles with phonics and especially spelling. I appreciate all of the ideas from the Measured Mom.

I teach K4 in Florida. I love the measured mom materials and have incorporated many into my lessons and classroom activities. I especially love that you have a reading background and that is evident in the materials. For example, for the “x” sound, you used words ending in “x”, since that is the accurate pronunciation of the sound! I love that and rarely see it! I am so excited about all the wonderful materials you’ve created!

I am super excited about possibly winning this free annual membership because the reason why I even subscribed to the measured mom in the first place was to benefit from all the great resources I received while teaching. There were free resources that I was able to receive that I was able to use with my kids, and it is just a blessing to have. Thank you so much for doing this, especially for parents and teachers that might not have the funds to pay for subscriptions, like myself, at this moment.

I have used the alphabet and number worksheets, book lists and followed suggested links to other suggested sites. As well, I have even purchased your resources through Teachers Pay Teachers.
I often share your site with parents looking to support their preschoolers at home. I would love to win this give away, to gain access to more of your useful time saving resources that you offer through your membership. While I have lots of teaching experience, and likely would seldom use the support part of the membership, the ready made resources are helpful. Hi, I’m Nicole, I’m actually a student teaching part-time but I try my best so I have been reading and using your resources. I like them a lot!

    1) We don’t use the grade system here so I don’t really know the equivalent. However, my students are learning English as a second language so although their ages may mean they’re in a certain grade, their proficiency may not match the same grade. Since it’s their second language, the pronunciation worksheets have been especially helpful to me. The kids (aged 6 & 8, most of them) like to colour! Eventually, I would like to move them up to reading passages. I also use the book review printout and the shared reading planner printout a LOT.

    2) I’m from Singapore.

    3) I’m looking forward most to the videos. Like I said, I use the shared reading planner and I noticed there was a suggestion for me to watch a video but it’s for subscribers only. I would really like to watch that and other videos to learn ways to be a more effective teacher. It may just be a part-time job but I really want to do the best I can. I don’t expect to follow all the videos to a T since there’s also personalisation when it comes to teaching, but it would surely be a great guide.

I am a speech-language pathologist in Arizona who works with kiddos who have autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. They range from preschool through high school. I work with these kiddos in their homes, so I am most excited about your printables, so I can leave homework for the families to do with their kids. Since I only see the kids 1-2 times per week, they need more practice on a daily basis, and this will give the families something tangible to work on.

I am a first time senior kindergarten/grade 1 teacher in Canada and i have chosen to create a learning environment based on play based learning and find so many of the ideas and lessons that you create so helpful in helping to develop curriculum based centres for my grade 1s, as well as play based, cognitive challenging centres for my senior kindergarten students. Having to create a program that integrates play based learning and curriculum based programming has been quite the challenge for me this year but through the use of your lessons, activities, etc, it has made this year much more manageable. Thank you!

Hi! I teach preschool in a public school district in Illinois. I have a typical classroom with 3-5 year old students in the mornings and in the afternoons I teach a blended classroom also with 3-5 year old students. This is only my second year teaching a blended classroom so I turn to your site often for ideas for my classroom, especially to aid with differentiation! Though I do think that I am most excited about the training videos. I always love to learn new techniques/tips/ideas that I can bring into my classroom. I love to go to workshops but am not able to go to them often at all because it is hard to get them approved because we have a substitute shortage. Having access to trainings from home on my computer would be wonderful! Thank you for all that you do to help support fellow teachers!

2- Which state (or country, if non-U.S. resident) are you from?

2- What about the membership are you most excited about?

Hi! I’m a homeschooling mum of 3 kids, my two girls are still in the learning to read stage, especially my soon to be 12 year old daughter with special needs and speech delays. It would be wonderful to have one place to go to for resources that look fun and inviting and help both my girls master reading, maths and so much more. The printables and the training videos would be a big help in moving forward. Thank you for the opportunity. šŸ™‚

I am an ESL teacher who services students in K-8th grade in North Carolina. I would love to win this because I am always looking for additional instructional materials and methods to not only use with my students but also to collaborate with classroom teachers for the success of our English Learner population. Your resources would provide me with that opportunity to help bridge the gap these learners so often have to cross. (I already use many of the “freebies” you provide through the email.) Thank you for considering me as a potential winner!
