In anticipation of a long car ride, I’ve been making printables to keep my kids busy on the road.  I created beginning sound coloring pages for my preschoolers and a matching activity for my toddler.  My Seven asked for color by number addition pages.

Color by number addition worksheets

Using Little Red’s Clip Art, I created a set of ten pages.  Each features a fairy tale character.

I focused on addition facts with higher addends.  You can also see that not every part of the picture has an addition fact.  When parts of the image were too small to put a fact, I left them blank.  Kids can color in those parts however they wish.

Are these pages still available? I clicked on the link and a Facebook page for Greg’s Market came up.
Thank you. Would love to have these for my granddaughters.

      Hi Mary!

This is Kate, Anna’s assistant. I’m really not sure what happened! When I click on the green box that says, “To get your free printable, CLICK HERE,” the coloring pages open immediately on my screen. I don’t see any links to what you described. Please give it another try!

Hi! I forget how I got here… googled “car activities for 6 yr old boy” first, found sites, and made it here. He loves color by number pages and thought he might enjoy this for the flight with grandpa. I can’t get the pages downloaded, though. The “download here” isn’t working by direct link or by right-click “save link as…” I was able to grab the addition facts games (he loves math! seriously!) just fine with “save link as…”

We are homeschooling kindergarten this year, so glad to find these activities. I think they will get played regularly!

Thank you for making the fairy tale math colour by numbers available free. My daughter was asking why math was so hard. These printables were so much fun she never noticed she was practicing.

    Dear Anna,

I haven’t been following now for a few months, at least not regularly because I gave birth to our third child in March 🙂 Now I am back on track, especially because me oldest will be going to school in September. Time flies, but she is excited to be a first-grader – so these coloring pages are perfect for us right now. Thanks very much!

A big hello from my 3 girls and me from Germany,
    Conny
