Time for another game to practice o-e words!

free o-e follow path game

Our follow the path games are a big hit with my kindergartner (as long as he wins!).  I like that they are quick to print and play.

follow the path o-e 2

In this set of games, we took turns trying to be the first to move our playing piece from the bear to the hive.  We like to use these colorful counters as playing pieces because they fit perfectly on the game board. Plus, they’re transparent, so you can read the words underneath them.

follow the path o-e 3

We took turns rolling the die and reading the word we landed on.  The game board has a mix of short o and o-e words so that kids really have to think about the pattern as they play.

follow the path o-e 1

You’ll notice that the game includes words that begin with digraphs and blends, too.  In the download you’ll get three different versions – just to mix it up for extra practice. Each game also comes in black and white.

Enjoy!
