follow the path u-e game

Hurray! We’re nearly at the end of our free reading activities for silent e words.

My goal was to get these printables created and the posts scheduled before baby #6 made its appearance.  While truthfully I’d rather have had the baby by now, I’m also thankful for the extra time it’s given me. 🙂

follow the path u-e 1

All my Follow the Path silent e games follow the same pattern.  Simply grab some playing pieces (we like these transparent counters) and a die.

follow the path u-e 2

Take turns rolling the die and moving around the board.  As you land on a word, read it aloud.

follow the path u-e 3

The first to reach the final picture wins.

My Five enjoys these because they’re simple and quick. It didn’t hurt that this time he kept rolling 6’s!

My other follow the path games include 2-3 different games per pack.  However, there aren’t many u-e words, so this download includes just one game in both color and black and white.

Have fun getting the frog to the fly!

You said this game was free, but I don’t see the link to download it anymore. Please help.
