Today I’m sharing a set of free, no prep games for short o words.
Free games for reading short o words
Simply take turns rolling the die and reading the words in the corresponding column.
The first five games have rhyming words in each column – making them easier than the last two games in the download.
This game asks your child to read nine words each time he rolls the die. Other games include words beginning with blends and digraphs.
This game is a tougher one since all the word families are mixed up.
Simply roll and read as many times as you’d like.
We hope your learners enjoy this quick, simple way to reinforce those phonics skills without flash cards!

I fixed something in the file, re-inserted it, and now have this problem. I’ll leave a comment here when it’s fixed. I don’t know what the tech issue is. 🙁
Anna Geiger
I think my host fixed it, so check again and let me know if it still doesn’t work!

I am using Chrome but am still receiving the “oops” message. I noticed this happened also on your latest Letter X printable. I love your resources and would like to be able to use it 🙂
Anna Geiger
Hmm – I fixed it so you shouldn’t still have the issue. It should be fixed on the X printable as well. I’ve had other people download it without trouble.
Anna Geiger
