These free letter books are a favorite of my Three. He’s had most of the songs memorized for months. I’m ready to share them with my One, but I think I’ll have to print him his own set. My Three is very protective of his letter books!
Free letter book: Rhymes & Songs for Letter M
Here are the songs and rhymes you’ll find in the Little Letter M Book:
M is for Muffin Man
Do You Know the Muffin Man?
The Muffin Man,
The Muffin Man?
Do you know the Muffin Man,
Who lives on Drury Lane?
M is for Monkeys
Five little monkeys
Jumping on the bed.
One fell off and bumped his head.
Mama called the doctor
And the doctor said,
“No more monkeys
Jumping on the bed!”
(Four little monkeys…)
M is for Miss Muffet
Little Miss Muffet
Sat on a tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey.
Along came a spider
Who sat down beside her
And frightened Miss Muffet away!
M is for Mulberry Bush
Here we go ’round the mulberry bush,
The mulberry bush, the mulberry bush.
Here we go round the mulberry bush,
So early in the morning.
M is for Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary
Mary, Mary, quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells
And cockle shells
And pretty maids all in a row.
M is for Miss Mary Mack
Miss Mary Mack, Mack, Mack,
All dressed in black, black, black,
With silver buttons, buttons, buttons,
All down her back, back, back.
She asked her mother, mother, mother
For fifty cents, cents, cents,
To see the elephant, elephant, elephant,
Jump the fence, fence, fence.
He jumped so high, high, high,
He touched the sky, sky, sky,
And he didn’t come back, back, back,
‘Til the fourth of July, ly, ly!
