I am wondering if it possible to find the “if, then” document. I think that would be so helpful to drill down to what a child really needs!

Carol, I didn’t make this myself, but this is a really excellent document. You can use it to help guide decisions after Dibels or Acadience Testing. For some reason it doesn’t make the full link clickable when I paste it here, but you need all of this for the link to work: https://www.ksde.org/Portals/0/Learning%20Services%20Documents/KSDE_AIM%20Quick%20Guide%20to%20Reading%20Assessment%20(1).pdf?ver=2021-04-15-131100-887

I haven’t made this myself, Ann, but this is the best I’ve seen! It will tell you what to do after you do Dibels or Acadience testing. https://www.ksde.org/Portals/0/Learning%20Services%20Documents/KSDE_AIM%20Quick%20Guide%20to%20Reading%20Assessment%20(1).pdf?ver=2021-04-15-131100-887

Anna, here is a great If, then document you can use after Acadience or Dibels testing. Be sure to copy and paste the entire link below; for some reason it only makes the first part clickable. https://www.ksde.org/Portals/0/Learning%20Services%20Documents/KSDE_AIM%20Quick%20Guide%20to%20Reading%20Assessment%20(1).pdf?ver=2021-04-15-131100-887

This was so informative and affirming to those of us making the switch from balanced literacy. I plan to borrow the term: distaughtia. Thank you, Anna and Dr. Farone!

Unfortunately, LETERS is not available now for individuals, but only for people whose school is enrolled (at least this is my understanding). You’ll have to contact them directly for details. It’s disappointing for sure!
