Here is another printable book of rhymes and songs – this time for the letter H!

Check out this free printable - rhymes and songs for letter H!

Little Letter H Book: Rhymes & Songs

Here are the songs and rhymes included in the mini-book:

 H is for Humpty Dumpty

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men
Couldn’t put Humpty together again.

H is for Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes

Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes,
Knees and Toes.
Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes,
Knees and Toes.
And eyes and ears and mouth and nose.
Head, shoulders, knees and toes.
Knees and toes!

H is for Hot Cross Buns  (we use a different tune, but here’s one you can follow.)

Hot cross buns, hot cross buns.
One a penny, two a penny,
Hot cross buns.
If you have no daughters,
Give them to your sons.
One a penny, two a penny,
Hot cross buns.

H is for Hickory Dickory Dock (get the tune here)

Hickory Dickory Dock,
The mouse ran up the clock.
The clock struck one,
The mouse ran down,
Hickory dickory dock.

H is for Hippopotamus (from DLTK-teach.com)

sung to the tune of “If You’re Happy and You Know It”

Oh, I’d like to be a hippopotamus,
Oh I’d like to be a hippopotamus,
Oh I’d hop and I’d dive,
Do a happy little jive,
Oh I’d like to be a hippopotamus.

H is for Higgledy Piggledy

Higgledy, piggledy, my black hen.
She lays eggs for gentlemen.
Sometimes nine and sometimes ten,
Higgledy piggledy, my black hen.

How to assemble my Little Letter Books:

  • Print the document in color (if you desire) on cardstock.  Be sure to print pages 2-3 front to back (page 1 is my Terms of Use). You will need only one piece of paper.
  • Cut an even line across the center of the page.
  • Fold the two sheets to make a book. Make sure the cover is in front, and insert the other page inside.
  • Staple with a long arm stapler.
