If you have a reader working on ee and oo words, you’ll love these free printable phonetic readers.
This set has three books with ee words, one book with oo as in book, and two books with oo as in moon.
Each book starts like this. Your child should read the first page by saying the sound of oo rather than naming the letters. After reading the first page, your child can practice reading the sound with the first big word.
Now your child can check his accuracy by turning the page and reading the sentence. (Yes, I realize the fish is on his head, but I’m thinking it’s still on the hook too 😉 ).
As we move through these sets, your child will have more chances to review phonetic words we’ve learned previously. We read learned short u words (as in fun) in set 5.
Look, at, and the are sight words that we learned way back at the beginning.
On this page your child will review silent e words (as in snake) from set 7.
Your child will review ur words (as in hurt) from set 6.
On the last page, your child can practice reading all the phonetic words without picture clues. Beginning readers may need to peek back at the pictures for help.
We hope you enjoy this set!
