Today I’m sharing six nursery rhymes and songs for letter R in a printable mini-book for toddlers and preschoolers.
Nursery rhymes and songs for letter R
When I first began this blog, my letter books felt like a secret. They were one of the first printables I shared, but they weren’t getting much attention. This bummed me out a little bit because they were such a hit at our house. My then two-year-old carried them everywhere and sang the songs all the time.
Now that little guy is four, and the books have caught on. In fact, I get a few e-mails every week from readers wondering when the set is going to be complete. We are oh so close! After this book I have just one more to share.
When you print and assemble the little book, your child will have six songs and rhymes to listen to.
Here are the songs and rhymes in the Little Letter R Book:
Ring around the RosieRing around the rosie,A pocket full of posies.Ashes, ashes,We all fall down!
It’s Raining, It’s PouringIt’s raining, it’s pouring,The old man is snoring. He went to bed and bumped his headAnd couldn’t get up in the morning.
Round and Round the GardenRound and round the garden,Goes the teddy bear. One step, two steps,Tickle you under there!Round and round the haystack,Goes the little mouse.
One step, two steps,To his little house!
Row, Row, Row Your BoatRow, row, row your boatGently down the stream.Merrily, merrily, merrily,Life is but a dream.
Rub a Dub DubRub a dub dub,Three men in a tub.And who do you think they be?The butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker,All put out to sea.
Roses are RedRoses are red,Violets are blue.Sugar is sweet,And so are you!
How to assemble my Little Letter Books:
- Cut an even line across the center of the page.
- Fold the two sheets to make a book. Make sure the cover is in front, and insert the other page inside.
- Staple with a long arm stapler.
