It’s April, and our snow has nearly melted! So it’s time for more spring-themed math. Here are some ladybug count and clip cards: a printable counting activity for preschoolers.
Ladybug Printable Counting Activity for Preschoolers
My Two enjoyed doing the cards up through number 6. (It’s hard for him to count larger groups of objects even with help.) It was good to get some counting practice and number recognition. Clipping the numbers requires some fine motor ability, too.
Here’s a sample page from the download:

Alicia
These are adorable! A little old for my little girl still, but I love the little ladybugs for color sorting! Where do you get your clipart?
Anna Geiger
Hi Alicia! I usually use MS Office clip art or buy it from Etsy shops. In this case I created each card in PicMonkey (free online) and transferred each image to a document in MS Publisher. That was the long way to do it and I don’t usually make things that way anymore 🙂
Danica
Hi! I’m having trouble downloading the ladybug count and clip card.
Anna Geiger
Hi, Danica – I uploaded them directly from my blog instead of Google Drive. Please let me know if you can download them – thanks!

Thanks for being so generous with your work! I am recently retired from 31 years of teaching pre-K, and am now providing curriculum for a non-profit childcare center at my church — so glad to have good items to share with them!

So glad these resources are useful for you, Betty!
