Anna,
Your book is the best practical teaching book I’ve ever read! (I love book about reading) Your book is actually a page turner. I am always confirmed in my practices, challenged in my old ideas and given practical ideas. It is the perfect bridge between old practices that had substance, and the new practices.
Thank you for reposting this podcast about reading comprehension. It was so helpful. Just like your book, it is both entertaining and doesn’t waste time. It gets to the point of what we need to know.
The one thing I’m having trouble finding from your links is more about dims Does it make sense? It was mentioned in this podcast and I would love to find resources for my classroom. I teach second grade and I find a lot of the curriculum jumps from the first grade skills of reading to assuming mastery. Everything you offer is really helping to bridge the gap in my teaching.
Thank you for your dedication to education.

First of all, Abby, thank you so much for your kind comments about my book! When you have a chance, I would really appreciate it if you would leave a review on Amazon. You could just copy/paste the first paragraph of your comment here. 🙂 As for DIMS, I am working on adding something like this to our membership, but that may be some time out. Here is a free online resource I found for it: https://texasldcenter.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/DIMS.pdf
