Here is another printable book of rhymes and songs – this time for Letter T.

Little Letter T Book: Rhymes & Songs

Here are the songs and rhymes included in the mini-book:

T is for A Tisket, a Tasket (to hear the tune, click here)

A tisket, a tasket,
A green and yellow basket.
I wrote a letter to my love,
And on the way I dropped it.
I dropped it, I dropped it,
And on the way I dropped it.
A little boy picked it up
And put it in his pocket.

T is for Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star (to hear the tune, click here)

Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
How I wonder what you are.
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky.
Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
How I wonder what you are.

T is for Teddy Bear

Teddy bear, teddy bear, turn around.
Teddy bear, teddy bear, touch the ground.
Teddy bear, teddy bear, go upstairs.
Teddy bear, teddy bear, say your prayers.
Teddy bear, teddy bear, turn out the light.
Teddy bear, teddy bear, say goodnight.

T is for Tommy Tucker (we just recite this nursery rhyme, but you can try this tune if you’d like)

Little Tommy Tucker sings for his supper.
What shall we give him?
Brown bread and butter.
How shall he cut it without a knife?
How shall he marry
Without a wife?

 T is for Turtle

There was a little turtle
Who lived in a box.
He swam in the water.
He climbed on the rocks.
He snapped at a minnow,
He snapped at a flea.
He snapped at a mosquito,
And he snapped at me!
He caught that minnow.
He caught that flea.
He caught that mosquito.
But he didn’t catch me!

T is for Teapot (to hear the tune, click here)

 I’m a little teapot, short and stout!
Here is my handle, here is my spout.
When I get all steamed up, hear me shout,
“Tip me over and pour me out!”

To assemble a Little Letter Book:

  • Print the document in color (if you desire) on cardstock.  Be sure to print pages 2-3  front to back (page 1 is my Terms of Use). You will need only one piece of paper.
  • Cut an even line across the center of the page.
  • Fold the two sheets to make a book. Make sure the cover is in front, and insert the other page inside.
  • Staple with a long arm stapler.
