Need a creative approach to spelling practice?
Simply print the free spelling mats and pull out some milk cap letters.
The download includes the following words:
- pit, sit, hit, lit
- wig, twig, pig, dig
- tip, rip, ship, chip
- pin, fin, twin, spin
- hill, pill, grill, drill
- kick, sick, lick, chick, pick, stick
When you print the download front to back, you child can slide off the caps and flip the mat over to check his spelling.
You might also have your child only do the sides with the printed letters. He or she d will still get plenty of practice reading and forming words.
Remember to print pages 2-27 front to back. (Page 1 is my Terms of Use.)
