I am over the moon that you interviewed Dr. Miles on this episode. I have seen webinars with her and read some of her work. She is amazing!

My favorite part of this interview is when she said she does not use the term sight words. I am a Reading Specialist/Dyslexia Teacher, and I cringe anytime I hear teachers talk about “sight words.” All words eventually need to be read by sight, not just high-frequency words or irregular words.

Thank you so much for your feedback, Nattalie! Dr. Miles is incredible and so incredibly kind! I’m not sure how long it will take for the old definition of “sight words” to expire!
