So, so true! And anything can be done in a boring way, as well as the opposite!
Someday I’ll take the time to investigate more, as you have done, but I assume that reading has always been taught using phonics somewhere, even before it was formally studied in scientific ways. All languages are logical regardless of the differences between them.
Always love to read what you’re exploring!

Thanks so much for weighing in, Heather! 🙂

Very interesting, very real for parental training and early teacher educators.
Am very impressed with your program.
Am a teacher for children with learning disability running coaching in for children with learning disabilities in regular elementary and lower primary school.
Need more of your assistance in this regard…I lack so many teaching pedagogy and resources to assist children in remote parts of my country Papua New Guinean.
I wish we personally meet and advance to your program in the challenge I am going through.
I have developed a need based curriculum for my school coaching focusing on basic phonics skills for children with learning disability.
My dear job well done hope we establish more communication through whatsapp or zoom.
Thanks again wishing you well and a very blessed moment.
Morris Inkharm.
