Today I’m sharing a few ideas for teaching kids who are writing letter J.

We’re finishing up our letter J activities with this post! Here are some ways to teach preschoolers to write the letter J.
Put plastic craft jewels on a block letter J.
Write a letter J in jam! My preschooler had to use two fingers so the J was wide enough to see. He enjoyed this tasty handwriting practice. 😉
Can you see the J? My Four borrowed his sister’s jump rope and grabbed our yard stick to make this giant letter J.
Do this simple tracing sheet. It’s a great introduction to handwriting pages.
Here’s the next step. Write big J’s on two lines.
Finally, write letter J’s on four lines. After this page, your child should be ready for traditional handwriting worksheets.
