You’ll love this no-prep opposites game for preschool!
The concept of opposites is an important one for kids – but it can be tricky to teach! I find that one of the best ways to teach early concepts is through language. That’s why I like this printable game. It gave my Four and I some time to talk about opposites – and he enjoyed it so much we played it a second time.

Simply print the game in color or grayscale. Then grab a die and playing pieces.
Take turns rolling the die to move around the board.
If you land on a picture, say its name and its opposite. You may need to give your child prompts if he’s stuck.
“If something isn’t hot, it’s…”
“You can be quiet, or you can be…”
You may find that your child thinks of a different opposite than the one pictured. For example, when my Four landed on the picture of a rock, I asked him for the opposite of hard. “Easy!” This was a fun opportunity to talk about the different meanings of words.
If you land on a number, go backward or forward that number of spaces.
The first to Finish, wins!
P.S. Did you know you can get this game as part of my Opposites pack? It includes printable cards, a memory game, clip cards, Bingo, and more!

I entered my email address and name in order to download your opposites game board. From the email, I clicked the link and entered the password VALENTINE. Then to get back to the game I searched it. It sent me in a loop. To download the game I have to enter my name and email address. How do I print the game board?
